TIME, Can it Really be MANAGED?

I have read so many articles and books on the issue of time management, really can TIME be managed?
TIME is not an element that is within the control of anyone, everyone on earth has gotten the same amount of TIME to do all that he/she set his/her heart to do. We all have the same 60 minutes in an hour, 24 hrs a day, 7 days in a week, 4 weeks in a month, and 12 months in a year, so what makes the difference is what you do with your own time and ultimately determines the kind of life you live.  So what can actually be managed is not TIME per say but YOURSELF. As the year 2012 rounds off why some people are thanking God for what they have achieved in the year, there are others who are just wishing they had more time to do all that they had in mind.
If you are going to live a productive life, it all starts with the way you manage each hour of your day. Most of us spend a lot of time with our phone chatting with friends, going through friends’ profiles on face book and watching movies whereas such TIME could have been used to do something more productive. Pause and ask yourself this question “Have you added any value to yourself in the year 2012”, if you are to change your job In the year 2013, do you have any new skills or training that will help you command a new pay?. Except you change the way you spend your TIME, by the end of 2013 you will be wishing you had more time again. TIME is one thing that God has given to all of us in common, what makes the difference is what we do with it. Start today, make a To do List  of what you have to do and stick it , do this every day and you are sure to have more productive days, weeks and years ahead.
Remember:
“It is easy to do something when you feel like it. It's when you don't feel like it and you force yourself to do it anyway that you move your life and career onto the fast track”
